We span 10 years and 5,680 kilometres. That’s a lot of years and kilometres.

 

Charlie Haar, the 28-year-old Torontonian, is a film school graduate who delayed joining the real world until he was laid off from a legal weed store and hit with a wave of inspiration visiting London soon after.

 

Jodie Trussler, the 18-year-old Harpenden-er, is a sixth-form graduate who doesn’t have a story like Charlie’s, but loves her fish and collecting DVDs.

 

We’re from different generations and different hemispheres, but luckily we have one thing in common: above-average communication skills.
